Sure, you could just buy a second power management device to protect your HDTV at the front of the room, but not only will this cost you more money, but you'll also have an obtrusive component sitting on your floor with two thick black cables stretching away from it. So much for "clean, sleek, minimalist look", eh? The Panamax MIW POWERKIT PRO includes two in-wall faceplates that offer the ideal interface between your HDTV and your protected power source at the rear of your home theater. Installed behind your HDTV (out of sight . . .), the power-outlet faceplate features two NEMA 5-15 AC connectors with Level 1 noise filtration, serving up clean power to your flat panel TV. Then, installed with the rest of your components at the rear of the room, the power-inlet faceplate with NEMA ML-2P twistlock connector can be easily connected to your power management system with the included 10' twistlock AC power cord featuring NEMA 5-15 and ML-2P interfaces. All you have to do is cut a couple of holes in your wall and run a power cable between the two faceplates. Bring on the power. |
Part II: Uh, what about the video? |
Woohoo!! You've got power! Now all you need is something to watch on your HDTV. Enter the MIW POWERKIT PRO's MAX in-wall dual signal bays. Each of the two included signal-bay faceplates — one for behind your HDTV, one with your Blu-ray player at the back of the room — has two separate bays for running cables. Pass video cables through one and speaker wires through the other. Bring on the video. |
