Taking advantage of Bluetooth technology, the ECMHW1 wireless microphone lets you capture sound from the source as you film from up to 30 meters away (depending on conditions). The receiver connects to the Active Interface Shoe on your Sony camcorder. The microphone goes where the most important sounds are coming from.

With the included armband, lanyard or clip, position the microphone wherever your "star" may go -- the sound will be transmitted to the receiver mounted on your camcorder as you record from a distance. With security native to Bluetooth technology, be assured that you are safely capturing the sounds of your special moments.

The 5.1-channel center mic mode is not available for the following models: DCR-DVD103, DCR-DVD203, DCR-DVD305, DCR-DVD92, DCR-HC42, DCR-HC90, DCR-HC96 and HDR-HC1.
