How Clean Is Clean?

The PLD4375RFC uses a 5-Level Precision Direct wash system with AquaSurge to propel water powerfully throughout the dishwasher tub. But how does it make sure the water being sprayed is clean? Each cycle begins with a pre-drain. Next, the dishwasher fills with water covering the stainless steel self-cleaning filter. Water is then pumped through the filter and spray arms. Soil particles go down the drain as the water is pumped out and replaced with clean water. A stainless steel food disposer also ensures the particles are ground and flushed out of the dishwasher. The Smart Soil Sensor checks the amount of food soil in the water and adjusts the wash cycle as needed for clean dishes every time. For those of you who believe in washing before you load your dishes into the dishwasher (you know who you are), Econo Wash will clean lightly soiled and pre-rinsed dishes and silverware. The China/Crystal cycle is exactly what it sounds like--for lightly soiled china and crystal. Upper rack lets you wash lightly soiled or pre-rinsed dishes (again with the pre-rinsing!) when you do not have a full load. The Half Load Wash Option offers economical energy-saving operation for small loads. Wash only the upper rack (upper or lower on some models) and save water and energy.Rinse Only allows you to rinse dishes that will be washed later. The electronic touchpad with digital display makes selecting a wash cycle simple and shows you time remaining in the cycle.

Plenty Of Space

The PLD4375RFC offers flexible racks for convenient loading. Two folding cup shelves/stemware holders provide specific room for those items. Fold-down tines on the lower rack make it easy to load pots and pans or oddly shaped items. The three-piece silverware basket lets you determine how much space you need to dedicate to silverware, and the three small item lids keep small, lightweight pieces from being washed to the bottom of the dishwasher.
