All-Digital Answering System & Speakerphone

When you can't, or don't want to answer the phone, a micro chip inside this phone will take your messages for you. Since there is no tape to mess with, this all-digital answering system is simple, efficient, dependable and virtually silent. The Digital Duplex Speakerphone built-into the base unit allows others in the room to join in on the conversation, provides hands free operation and is also a convenient way to answer the phone if you happen to be near the base unit while the handset is elsewhere. If you lose track of the handset, the handset locater rings the handset helping you locate it faster. This phone also gives you the ability to page the handset and communicate with whoever happens to be holding it. This makes for an inexpensive and easy to use basic intercom system. Since the base unit has its own keypad, you can place outgoing calls directly from the base unit. Simultaneous keypad dialing allows you to dial from the handset, base unit or both which is extremely handy for navigating voice menu systems and prompts.

Phone Directory, Call Waiting & Caller ID

The phone directory has room for up to 50 names and telephone numbers that can be stored and quickly accessed for dialing using the phone's navigator key. The navigator key also provides quick and easy access to Caller ID memory, handset volume, ringer loudness, programming and other functions. In addition to the 50 names and numbers in the phone directory, you can assign one number to the Direct Dialer Button for instant dialing of an emergency number or favorite party. With Call Waiting Caller ID, this phone can display Caller ID information of incoming calls, even if you're on another call at the time. The phone's caller ID memory has room to store up to 50 names and numbers for easy retrieval and direct callback. If you have voice mail through your phone company, the Voice Mail Message-Waiting Indicator will let you know if you have a message waiting.

Whether you are hanging out by the pool, washing the car or stepping out of the shower, the odds are that the phone will ring while you're still wet. That's why this phone was built with a splash resistant case that can take a little water and keep right on working (not designed to be fully immersed or held under running water). The backlit display can show 3 lines of Caller ID information, so there's no need for scrolling. This display is conveniently located on the handset for easy access even when you're nowhere near the base unit. The phone keys are also backlit for easy dialing even in the dark. If you lose track of the handset, the base unit has a handset locator that will ring the handset to help you find it.
