Ready, set, play!
Engage in the sheer fun and curiosity of being a kid — with your entire family. In EA Playground, you're a new student exploring the large, colorful Playground. Whether you're swinging the Nintendo Wii Remote to throw a ball at your opponent in dodgeball, using it to bash away at a tetherball, or navigating a paper plane through a school hallway obstacle course in Paper Racers, you'll experience the Wii in a totally new and fun way. Let's go!
The Playground layout
The virtual playground includes four main areas — the Schoolyard, Goby Park, the Wifflebowl, and Rabblewoods — but first you only have access to the Schoolyard. Play hard and win games to unlock the next area. The ten games include: dodgeball, paper racers, kicks, dart shootout, wall ball, slot car racing, tetherball, freethrow, bug hunt, and dribbling. Stickers and marbles allow you to upgrade (like being able to go through wind funnels in paper racers, or deliver a power serve in dodgeball).
Single Player mode adds a new twist
In Single Player mode, you'll find yourself in pursuit of the coveted Playground King title. You'll meet Playground bosses and beat them at their own games. But watch out, because the further you go in the game, the harder the bosses play. As you complete challenges, you'll unlock new areas, earn stickers as valuable power-ups, and find hidden minigames throughout the playground. Just be sure to collect all the sticker powerups — you'll need them!
