It is up and works well. There was a minor design issue. The back of the stand had rubber bumpers that prevented me from being able to get it installed. A little frustrating. Removed the bumpers and it went up as it should. The other problem was the locking screw was missing.

This TV shelf was very easy to put together. I probably did it in the estimated time, and that usually doesnt happen. One thing to watch for, and that is, if installed on a sheet rocked wall, it must go into a wall stud. I was lucky and it lined up with the TV.

We purchased two of these shelves for two different areas of our home. We have a 7month old baby that is on the move & needed to raise the components. We had previously mounted both televisions on the wall .. So there were outlets already in place higher location on the wall ... However, IF YOU HAVE MORE THAT TWO DEVICESCOMPONENTS TO PLUGIN, you may require an additional electrical outlet installed higher up on to the wall.
We had ONE outlet located behind the flatscreen already, but needed to power four devices television, cable box, surge protector & blue ray player so we had to have an additional outlet installed, which turned into a bit of a headache, because we needed to hire an electrician for this, but at the end of the day, we got it all completed, it looks great & meets our needs.
Also, one of out walls was not completely flat, so it bowed a bit were talking millimeters , but the black case that runs along the back of the wall, does not flex at all, shims didnt help, we actually had to file a bit of the metal to be able to catch the part mounted to the wall ... But again, this only happened with one of our units, the other installed in like 10 min, flawlessly!
So
- make sure that your wall is completely flat level
- make sure to have enough outlets ALREADY INSTALLED behind the television already installed if you want that clean look like the photo where the rear black bar joins the television bottom seamlessly
The final shelf looks great & the shelves adjust along the bar to wherever you secure them with the Allen wrench.

After being installed these shelves look great. They hold a lot of weight and are fairly easy to install. The hardware included with the unit is kind of cheap. I snapped one bolt off at the head. The wire tray is not the best design either. They supply you with plastic slides that are intended to hide the wires but they fall off easy. The tray you run the wires in could be a little bigger as well. All and all it is a good product though. Well worth the money.
