Blu-ray sentinel
The DMP-BD75 Blu-ray disc player has a very specific task. Take the high-definition video and high-quality 7.1-channel audio present on your Blu-ray discs, and bring them to your HDTV. Panasonic has made sure that the DMP-BD75 is ready. The lone HDMI output delivers full 1080p video, while digital audio outputs (along with a 2-channel analog audio out) are on standby just in case your receiver isn't HDMI-compatible. Plus, just in case you watch the occaisonal DVD, the DMPBD75 is prepared to upscale the video to your HDTVs native 1080p resolution, giving you a better viewing experience. The DMPBD75 is also fast, loading your favorite discs quickly, so that you can get on with the important task of sitting back and watching. The BD75 also comes ready to connect to your network, and stream movies from sources like Netflix or YouTube — it may be ready for your Blu-ray discs, but, hey, versatility is important too.

I was looking for my first Blu Ray player and this guy came across my bow at a very good price--not much more than an upscaling DVD player. Its a flimsy little metal box, but in the month Ive had it, its performed very nicely indeed. Given a good DVD source, it upscales beautifully and sharply. Blu Ray is terrific too. The only reason I dont give it 5 stars all the way is that it is so new. A device like this should last for years, and theres no way yet of telling that it will.

This Blu-Ray player is exceptionally good. Ive gone through Sony, LG, Toshiba and Vizio Blu-Ray players.... and they all have their flaws.... hangs, slow to start, slow to stop, slow to eject, skipping,, pixellation..... But the Panasonic player exhibits NONE of these problems.... it just works. Virtually instant On, instant openclose.... no hangs, stalls... excellent picture quality.
If youre tired of messing around with the other junk.... get this Panasonic Blue-Ray player.

Ive tried quite a number of blu-ray players and IMO Panasonic has the best pictureaudio quality in its price range. I have the DMP BD65K and its been doing a great job, no issues. Super quick loading speed. However, I do think Panasonic can improve on its user interface. I recommend Panasonics blu-ray players.

Really fast, really easy, but mistakenly thought it had Wifi. Probably no reason to buy a Blue Ray player without wifi these days. Returned it with no hassle. Vanns customer service second to none.

We were looking for a simple, easy-to-use BD player, and this Panasonic unit fit the bill. It does not have 3d capability, it plays a single disc at a time, and it works very well. The unit has played both BD and earlier DVDs cleanly, without any tracking or reproduction problems. The controls are easy to manage and operate. The price is extremely reasonable.

Bought this unit from their Clearance Center as the discount price was right for my needs. Upon setup found the video was perfect, unfortunately the audio was bad. Now the good news -upon going to their Billings MT store they to confirmed the audio was inoperative. They replaced the unit with a brand new one which worked perfectly in my home and at the discount price of the defective unit. Wow, did not expect this to happen, and as result Im a most happy customer. Vanns made the problem go away. I will not hesitate to buy from them again in the future.

I wanted a blu-ray player to go with my new flat screen HDTV. This new model from Panasonic has all of the features I want including the ability to convert standard DVD output to display in 1080P. While it is an inexpensive player it isn't cheap. It seems to be very well-constructed and sturdy. It is also very aesthetically pleasing. It has the capability to stream media, but I doubt that I will use it for that. I have had another Panasonic DVD player for over eight years and have had ZERO problems with it. I expect this one to be just as good, if not better.
