The brushed black aluminum front panel of this dual tape deck speaks of the quality contained within. Dual auto reverse lets you copy both sides of a tape with the press of a button, or relay-play both sides of two tapes without interruption. The TARW255 dual cassette deck also includes Dolby B and C noise reduction to effectively eliminate tape hiss and auto-spacing to insert blank spaces between songs, which is especially important if you use a music search feature when playing your recordings. This fully loaded dual deck also offers high speed dubbing, record level control, CD synchro recording, 8-segment peak level meters, an auto tape-bias selector, and a 4-digit electronic tape counter.

Many Onkyo Components, One RI Remote Control

Onkyo's Remote Interactive (RI) system allows you to control, with a single remote control, all parts of a system set up with receivers, amplifiers, DVD/CD players/changers, cassette decks, and tuners. You can enjoy the same level of smooth operation as you would have with an integrated A/V system. For example, power on/off can be synchronized across components, and the selector input can automatically switch to play the just-selected component (Auto Selector function). RI capability has been incorporated into most Onkyo products over the last 10 years, allowing you to change or add components over time. The TARW255 does not include a remote control, but can be operated with the RI remote control supplied with other Onkyo components.
