DVD+-RW/CD-RW Combo Drive

The PCGK35 has DVD and CD burning capabilities built right in. Sony Click to DVD software makes it easy as pie to burn your own DVDs, and with Sony SonicStage software, you'll be downloading, ripping, transferring, and burning your very own compilation CDs. You can download music straight from the Internet and make custom CDs for yourself and for your friends. After you're done creating CDs, you can sit back, relax and watch your favorite DVD movie on your computer's 15.4" XGA (1280 x 800) TFT display. So, this is the computer for you if you're planning on doing as much entertaining as you are computing.

The PCGK35 features integrated LAN, letting you connect to thousands of hotspots across the country for instant messaging, checking email, surfing and searching the web. An i.LINK (IEEE-1394) digital interface is built into the PCGK35, giving you the power of fast and easy connectivity to Sony digital camcorders and a host of other compatible video devices. Once connected you're ready to unleash the video producer inside you. That's just the beginning of the many useful connections designed into this powerful little notebook computer. Three USB ports allow you to attach multiple accessories that utilize this popular connection. Printers, scanners, digital cameras, just to name a few of the products that use USB. An RJ-11 modem jack and RJ-45 Ethernet connection are there for your networking and Internet needs. There's also a VGA output. As you can see, you'd be hard pressed to find an accessory that you can't connect to this versatile notebook.
