Decent sound quality 7 out of 10.
Passable comfort for long periods of wear 7 out of 10- I conduct a lot of phone trainings that are 90 mins . My ears get sore at around 75-90 minutes in.
Though I have a loud booming voice, the mic is not especially sensitive, or is perhaps located too far down the cord and away from my mouth, and so I often have to speak more loudly or hold the mic closer to my mouth when I speak.
They seem pretty durable, I wear them every day so well see how they hold up..

The Klipsch Image One is a great choice for cell phone or Apple product users that are looking for a set of non-earbud headphones with a remote and microphone. It brings extra value to Apple product users as it also includes volume buttons.
As with other Klipsch products Ive tried, this product is amazingly comfortable to use. It is lightweight, and grips your ears with just the right amount of pressure.
As a frequent traveler, I especially appreciated the well-designed case the headphones come it. It is a soft, yet firm zipper case whose interior is is velcro-ready. Two nubs hold the headphone in place by the earphones.
I am choosing not to offer too many comments on the sound quality of these headphones. Dont misunderstand - I like them, but I defer to the experts at head-fi to provide a more detailed description of how these sound relative to other headphones.

I believe that the Image One IO headphones sounded great right out of the box. Previously I had used a pair of Ultimate Ear sound isolation buds, as well as shure e2cs. Comparing the IOs to these was somewhat difficult because the IOs are not meant to isolate sound. Hence, I need to listen to music ~20 louder than I do with my other buds to block outside noise. I tested the sound quality using flac audio files and the performance was superb. I broke them in for ~40 hrs playing rock music, although nobody has ever mentioned this affects the IOs. Overall
Pros
-Sturdy, efficient case
-Nice build quality
-Very comfortable
-Great sound quality
Cons
-Little sound isolation
-Foam covers dont seal when wearing a stocking cap or baseball cap which results in loss of bass volume

I got mine in under a week with ground shipping, industry standard for across the states shipping.
First thing I noticed when I received the unit was how light the box was. The headphones were so light in my hands, I was amazed.
At first I thought the small headphones were going to look funny but it actually fits very nicely over the ears.
I used it for 4 hours, 15 minute breaks at each hour interval, for an online class, and felt it did its job very well. The instructors voice was very clear and it blocked a lot of the noise while i was at a coffee shop.
After 4 hours of usage, I did have a slight ache on top of the ears where the headphones rest...they may be light, but it does cause a little bit of discomfort after long periods of use.

Ive been on the search for perfect headphones for my loud commute on public transportation. My requirements were high audio fidelity, iPhone controls, and closed cans or noise-cancelling for sound isolation, since I cant stand the feel of in-ear monitors or earbuds. I bought the Klipsch Image Ones based on positive reviews by users, brand name recognition, and a great sale on the product.
Im disappointed however in the sound quality as compared to other similarly priced headphones. After about 48 hours of headphone burn-in time and a week of use, the Image Ones generally lack clarity. I feel it stems from an over-emphasis of the bass, which is itself very muddy. The mids and highs are also less clear than Im used to. This is in comparison to my Sennheiser HD 280 Pro headphones, which retail for $50 LESS than the Image Ones. The Sennheisers also give me much greater noise isolation, although they are true circumaural cans, as opposed to these headphones, which fail to completely fit around my ears, causing me to have to crank up the volume during my commute.
The only major advantages of these headphones over the Sennheisers are the iPhone controls and microphone, which allow me to control the iPod functions of the phone easily, and take calls without having to hold the phone to my ear. The cord length is also much better for my commute.
All in all, I think that Ill likely be getting rid of these and going back to the Senns, at least until I can find a better replacement.

I listen mostly to folkAmericana w some indie mixed in. The bass in these headphones drowned out the vocals and the gentler instrumentation. However, listened to them on a piece of Peter Gabriel music that was designed to be bass heavy, and I felt like I was in the concert hall. I think theyre not the right headphones for me, but if you listen to more suitable types of music, you may want to give them a try. Loved the musicphone controls, though, and will search for the same capability on my next pair of headphones.

I recently bought these headphones and was amazed at how good they are, not good enough for the full price but a bargain for the sale price. The handy remote allows you to change tracks even in pandora without having to get out your iphone as it is a apple endorsed product. The speaker portion folds inward so they can be flattened and stored in the useful case, unlike many other bulky headphones. Once on they are comfortable and block out a lot of the outside noise - not totally but enough to be able to enjoy the music

I picked up a set of Klipsch Image One headphones during an excellent sale on Vanns. Im not sure I would have picked these cans up for the regular retail price, but Im very glad these headphones went on sale. One description you will probably hear about these headphones from just about anybody is that they drive lots of bass. I was overwhelmed the first time I tried them out and thought that it might be a deal breaker. Luckily, I just hooked them up to my laptop and broke them in throughout the course of a weekend. Once the break in process occurs, the bass issue becomes a moot point. After the break in process occurs, youll be left with a wonderful sounding pair of headphones. I dont claim to be an audiophile, but I couldnt imagine getting better sound reproduction for the price I paid. These headphones sound excellent playing heavy metal, classic rock, or rap. The one caveat with these headphones is if you decide to use them over long periods of time. I typically listen to them for two to three hours at a time, and even though they are very light and cushiony, you will feel them after a while. Other than that, these are an excellent buy.

First and foremost, The folks at Vanns are very very helpful during the process of me ordering this item.
After so much time spent reading reviews and whatnot, I convinced myself to get a pair of these headphones. The sound produced by these headphones is very clear & crisp. Even though the box shows icons of iOS devices, these headphones are actually compatible with any 3.5mm headphone-level sound producing stereo equipment.
I had to re-configure my equalizers because these headphones bring so much more out of the music compared to other brands.
Highly recommended.

The headphones have great sound and I love the external controls for my ipod. The headphones come with a nice case and everything seems very high quality. My only complaint is that they arent the most comfortable headphones. After a full day of use my ears can get a bit sore... in terms of comfort, my cheap Sonys are a bit more comfortable. But, in terms of isolating sound and with the controls and mic, these are great headphones.
