The GoPro 3D HERO system gives you everything you need to turn two HD HERO camcorders into a synchronized 3D camcorder, including the GoPro tough case to hold them. Free editing software lets you optimize videos for passive, active, or even old-school anaglyph (that is, red/blue glasses) 3D viewing.

3D filming requires two HD Hero camcorders (not included).

Right in the middle of everything

The videos from your HD HERO camcorder are pretty cool: you get to show off all the action of biking, surfing, racing, running — well, whatever you're into really — right from your point of view. Well, with the new GoPro 3D HERO system, you can show it off the way you actually see it: in 3D. With two HD HERO camcorders, you're able to use the 3D HERO system to not only configure their lenses (that is, put one upside down) into the perfect 3D machine, the sync cable keeps them recording at the same time from just one button press, making it easy to put the footage together later. Once you've put the footage together with the free GoPro CineForm editing software, you can export it so that it can be viewed with a passive 3D television, active 3D television, or even on a non-3D screen with an anaglyph display mode (that's right: old school red/blue glasses). Plus, the casing is just as tough as you've come to expect, so that when the ground is coming right at you (and we don't mean on your television screen), you can be sure that it'll be ready to record once you're on your feet (or wheels) again.
