To create such world-class sound, Energy utilizes a unique combination of technology and materials. Their aluminum dome tweeter is paired with dual 5.25â€� woofers that utilize Energyâ€™s patented Ribbed Elliptical Surround. This technology uses an ellipse-shaped driver surround to reduce distortion, improve efficiency, and increase movement resulting in a greater range of sound. Energyâ€™s Convergent Source Module (CSM) isolates the tweeter in separate housing in order to minimize interaction between drivers, reducing noise and allowing for greater power handling, as well as creating a wider dispersion of sound.
