After finally breaking down to purchase a surround sound receiver I needed to take the rear speakers off the folding tables and put them on real stands. These are perfect! The quality is great for the price point and arrived intact good packaging from Sanus. Speedy shipping from Vanns too. Assembly is super easy. Install the flexible plastic wire cover before attaching the top and bottom plates.

These are exactly what I had imagined them to be. Very easy to assemble and seem very solid not hollow, quite stable too. I have no issues with them holding my Dayton Audio B652 bookshelf speakers. They look a lot more pricey than they are IMO. I opted for the Mocha version and they match my decor nicely. Vanns.com got them to me super quick too!

Bought the stands on sale $42. Good quality material, easy set up, looks good. perfect for carpet or wood floor. Looks high end with the Energy Veritas 5.1 speakers. It made the speakers stand out and sounds better. Great deal on Vanns, as always outstanding customer service. Couldn't find a better deal. Of course WAF was high. Use a hair dryer to soften the wire covers on the back.

These were fairly straight forward to assemble, and they look good. They are quite stable, and I liked the optional wire covers that you can put on the back of the stands to hid the cable. Its not any kind of exotic wood, but the price it is definitely high bang for the buck. I placed speakers that are slightly bigger than the plate, and secured them using removable 3M double stick velcro.

I love the stands... The finish is great and I put a little heat on the wiring covers. Just use a blow dryer and flex it a little and put it into the groves.
I have Polk Audio FX500i which are fairly large surrounds and they are sturdy. Just need to find a L bracket and fasten to the hang plate on the back of the speaker and it will be perfect.
30 high is perfectly ear level when sitting in a couch.
LOVE IT! and love the price. Would definitely recommend.

For the price, I doubt that there is anything better.
As an ex-cabinet maker, I appreciate the clean design.
One word of advice, get the proper screwdriver.
A screw gun with low speed and an adjustable clutch worked like a charm.
Start with a weaker torque & work your way up.

Went together slick as a whistle. The only difficulty was getting the wiring cover pieces fitted in the back of the post, but thats on me and my less than strong fingers. Looks great and steady as a rock. Have Veritas Mini speakers on them now but plan to try the Veritas 5.1s.
A happy camper.

Very nice looking and sturdier than the base model stands. I still wouldnt want the cat jumping up on the speakers however. For the little more money than the base model stands, I like these a lot.

These are the perfect height to have your speakers mounted as mains next to your TV. Build quality is very good. They could be heavier but are wide enough for most uses. The top plate is 6x6. This could be larger as well but if you use picture handing contact strips that lock together your speakers wont go anywhere. They come with spikes or rubber feet. They also come with mini pins to have your speakers sit just above the top plate for reduced resonances. Finally Vanns has the best prices on them by far. I have Energy CB-20s and Energy RC-10s on these stands and they work perfectly. You could pay more but honestly why would you...they are stands...and these look great.
