You will have plenty of room to spare for your holiday turkey in the 5.3 cu. ft. capacity AER5845RAS range, largely due to a hidden bake element. You can even cook appetizers, side dishes and deserts while you are waiting for your holiday bird to get done. TimeSavor Speed Cook convection with auto conversion automatically adjusts the oven to the proper temperature. For added flexibility, a Cook and Hold setting cooks food for the time selected and then automatically reduces oven temperature to keep food warm for one hour. A Keep Warm setting keeps food hot until everyone's at the table. Three oven racks, including one EasyRack oven rack with its practical U-shaped design, lets you easily place and remove bakeware without touching the rack. Eight rack positions afford extra food-placement flexibility, and a windowed oven door and oven light let you peak at your food while it is cooking to ensure that it's being prepared to your satisfaction.
Lots of cooking options
A smoothtop glass ceramic surface affords flexible stove top cooking with one 12", 2700-watt POWERBOOST element; one 9"/6" dual element; two 6", 1,200 watt elements; and one 6" Warming Zone to keep side dishes warm until the main dish is ready. EasyTouch 800 oven controls make it easy to set your temperatures and select your cooking options. The electronic clock with timer is easy to read and use. Hi/Lo broil (open door) produces delicious meats, garlic bread and more. A Favorite setting lets you pre-program the cook time and oven temperature, while Delay Bake oven control lets you start cooking when you're not there and come home to a hot meal. The AER5845RAS also features an Auto Shutoff that turns the oven off after 12 hours. A Sabbath Mode overrides the oven's 12-hour auto shutoff for up to 72 hours of uninterrupted cooking on holidays and other special occasions.
Nearly cleans itself
A self-cleaning oven with adjustable cleaning levels and hidden bake element makes cleanup easy. The smooth gloss backguard is easy to clean. Spills wipe off the surface easily so your range stays looking shiny and new. And a Spillsaver upswept cooktop design guarantees that spills won't drip down the side of your AER5845RAS, so they're easier to clean up.
Safety features
Amana always has safety in mind which is why they have incorporated a Child Lockout feature into the AER5845RAS to keep your wee ones out of harm's way. The range also has a Hot Indicator Light to warn you that the cooktop is still too hot to touch. Thanks, Amana.
