Performance + Convenience = Value
Canon's EOS Rebel T3i is one incredible value. This Digital SLR features a full 18-megapixel resolution for crystal-clear, detailed photos, even when you decide to go with the large prints. Life happens quickly, and with ISO speeds all the way up to 6400, you can capture it without worrying about blurring. And LiveView functionality combined with a DIGIC 4 image processor ensures that what you see in the viewfinder is what you see on the print. But it isn't just performance that makes this DSLR such an incredible value; it's also convenience. In addition to offering complete creative control over your shots, the Rebel T3i features several automatic modes to make snapping shots without switching settings a breeze — perfect for family events. Picture Styles let you easily add effects to your pictures. And when a picture just isn’t enough to capture the moment, Full HD 1920 x 1080 video recording is included. A Vari-angle LCD ensures that you can still see the picture you're taking, even if you can't see the subject. With this handy screen, you never have to contort or crouch to capture the right shot again. Meanwhile, a self-cleaning sensor unit keeps dust out of your shots, even if you change lenses frequently. There's even a starter lens included!

We purchased this camera to get back into the more serious side of photography. Since going digital weve been using point and shoot and it was high time to get back into more SLR-based shooting. This camera does everything we could have imagined and then some. Were still learning all the ins and outs but the picture quality is fabulous.

This is my first SLR camera. I have never had any classes though I plan to take one. As soon as I pulled my camera out and charged the battery, I started snapping pictures of my kids and things around the house and yard in the auto mode, since I didn't want to read the instructions before seeing the pictures. I was amazed at the depth and color of the pictures! I love how the camera kind of gives a tutorial as you learn, through the onscreen guides. I have barely started using it, haven't shot any video yet, but I am SO happy with the quality of the camera, and the photos I have taken so far. Can't wait to really get going! LOVE!

I bought this as my first DSLR, and I am very happy with it. I took a photography class in high school and only very vaguely remembered photography principles, but the easy to operate software on the camera got me back up to speed in no time at all. The on-screen guides are simple and once you figure out the main buttons, its all gravy, baby! One complaint is that the LCD does not display the live view by default - You need to push the Live View button for it to do that. The photos are beautiful with bright, clean colors and the videos it shoots look amazing in 1080p. All-in-all Id highly recommend this camera.
