Practical and performance-minded
Your camera is an important go-to tool, but you can't spare the space for a clunker. The Sony DSC-W560 packs a full load of functionality into a modestly sized housing. Snap detailed, lifelike pictures in any setting using Intelligent Auto mode, which assesses the lighting, faces, and scene conditions and chooses the best settings for your shot. The 14.1-megapixel resolution is generous enough so you can print up to 13" x 19" images without losing any sharpness. For those moments when the 26mm wide-angle lens won't quite capture the full scene, the DSCW560's Sweep Panorama mode takes perfect panoramic shots quickly, easily, and consistently by simply pressing the shutter button and sweeping the camera in the desired direction. Shoot up to 268° images with the press of a button. Next, serving up a powerful and versatile tool, the DSC W560 features a 3" Clear Photo LCD viewscreen, great for composing, reviewing, sharing, and editing your shots. Beyond the standard point and shoot, you'll also enjoy a 720p MP4 HD movie mode feature. This means you can shoot 1280 x 720 HD movies with the full use of the optical zoom! When you tote the DSC-W560, you'll have access to all the tools you need to record special and everyday moments without being weighed down with unnecessary bulk.

What a GREAT camera. I am not a techie, not by a long shot. I was able use this lightweight slim camera almost instantly after the battery was charged. I was amazed at the point and shoot panorama feature. I took one of the first shots in a mirror just to check it out and was surpised by the clarity of the shot, the detail, and the zoomability. A bargain for such a great point and shoot camera. I had a Sony DSCW100 and I like this camera a lot more.
