Remarkable Reception

Instead of a standard, off the shelf integrated circuit, the Model One uses a state of the art, discrete-component FM tuner featuring GaAs MES-FET mixers. This technology was originally developed for cellular phones but Henry Kloss realized the benefits it held for FM radio reception and made the Model One the first radio to adopt this technology. The result is vastly improved reception and increased clarity on closely spaced stations.
