Remarkable Reception

Instead of a standard, off the shelf integrated circuit, the PAL uses a state of the art, discrete-component FM tuner featuring GaAs MES-FET mixers. This technology was originally developed for cellular phones but Henry Kloss realized the benefits it held for FM radio reception and included it in his PAL designs. The result is vastly improved reception and increased clarity on closely spaced stations. You enjoy stronger and much clearer reception from your favorite stations and with the superior tuner, you may find stations you never knew were there. Tuning in your favorites, both old and new, is a pleasure using the large analog tuning knob with its geared down 5:1 tuning ratio that provides easy and accurate tuning. Your PAL's tuner also features Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) which locks on to the center of the signal you have tuned in, providing the best reception and lowest distortion possible. The adjustable telescoping antenna extends and rotates for improved reception and the PAL also has a built-in AM antenna. The simple, straightforward design of your PAL makes it very easy to get along with. An auxiliary input is provided to connect a CD player, MP3 player or similar device.
