Logitech sells this at a high price since they advertise this as wireless. My unit keeps stopping and shutting down when wireless. Purchased a new dual band router that is on the same floor in my unit, about 30 feet away. I shut down all of my other units linked to the router. Squeezebox still shuts down. Customer support for Logitech then recommended I go hard wired. Spent another $100 to go hard wired. Unit still shuts down. Poor customer service at Logitech. Never seem to read everything I send in my online message. Unit is worthless.

I find the Touch a breakthrough product that greatly enhances my enjoyment of my music collection. It has a very useful interface that displays album covers, performance titles and allows sorting and searching of my music by genre, song title,year, artist and random play. The quality of playback with the Touchs D to A converter is decent, but it easily lends itself to upgrade with a higher quality D to A when you can afford one. It plays a plethora of internet radio stations of every genre and from every country in the world. It has become the center of my stereo listening and I have several of them in various rooms of the house, which synchronize easily for multiroom listening. My only complaint is that in rooms more distant from my router, there can be some buffering or pausing of the music. This is resolved with the use of a Netgear Powerline adapter or a wifi range extender. Of course it helps if you can get someone to rip all your CDs to a hard drive as I did with a compulsive friend who had too much time on his hands.

I added the Squeezebox Touch to my exisiting setup, so I already had the Logitech Media Server and an existing Squeezebox Duet in place. Adding the Touch was very straightforward, and allowed me to synch the music in two separate areas of my house. The advantage over the Duet is the touchscreen, of course, but also the native support for high-resolution 96kHz .flac files. I use my existing Duet Controller, as well as the recently-released Squeezebox app for my iPhone to control both units...brilliant! Thanks to Vanns for the great price and free shipping which made my decision easy!

Easy setup, great interface, easy to setup on computer and android phone, screen and remote work well together, favorites are easy to use. Not many apps, stitcher would be nice, podcast interface a little cluncky a few sites would not load. Overall great piece of hardware and I would recommend it to a friend.
