Complementing the high-frequency performance of its 1" tweeter, the R5502W is designed with two advanced 5.25" woofer drivers, achieving remarkable sonic detail. Each woofer's Cerametallic™ cone is lightweight with excellent rigidity, which dramatically reduces any resonance. As a result, the R5502W is capable of robust bass extending low enough for comfortable operation with today's built-in A/V preamp/processor and receiver crossovers.

For added performance and installation customization, the Klipsch R5502W in-wall speaker sports bass and treble switches and built-in IR receiver knockout holes. The bass and treble switches with custom EQ settings allow the speaker's audio reproduction to be tailored to the acoustics of your listening area. Aiding in custom installation of the R5502W, IR receiver knockout holes allow for easy installation of infrared repeaters, brining you the potential for seamless control of a multi-room home theater system.
