The Definitive C/L/R2002 speaker was designed with the same rigid standards and high performance goals as their main left and right front speakers. It includes state-of-the-art features like high-definition polymer coned cast-basket bass/midrange drivers with butyl rubber surrounds, a wide dispersion pure aluminum dome tweeter with magnetic fluid cooling, complex Linkwitz-Riley crossover networks, a solid non-resonant monocoque cabinet with diffractionless grill/baffle interfaces, and effective magnetic shielding incorporating both metal shield and dual field canceling magnets. The C/L/R2002 has been voiced (timbre-matched) with the same sonic signature as all of Definitive's front main speakers. The C/L/R2002 will also, because of its true full-range quality and linear response, often provide better performance and do a better job matching other companies' main speakers than their own. On top of all this, the C/L/R2002 is Dolby Digital AC-3 ready.
