V-Series Volume Controls utilize ELAN's Equi-Step™ technology, providing audibly equal volume increments over all 12 steps. Precision-wound transformers with vacuum impregnated high-grade silicon steel laminates ensure super-flat frequency response with no inductive resonance.

ELAN's patented Override circuit allows page and door chime audio to be heard over the speakers even if the volume control is turned all the way down. Six position override jumpers allow the installer to select just the right page and door chime audio levels in each room. V-Series Volume Controls have labeled, one-way deplugable connectors that accept up to 14 AWG wire -- making wire termination a breeze.
