Like a singing telegram messenger or a matchmaker, the Elan V883 component video controller is an intermediary that can help make your life easier and more enjoyable. Capable of distibuting up to eight componenet video sources — whether it's your DVD player, game console, satellite, or DVR — to eight high-defintion TVs in different rooms of your house, the V883 is truly a master video middleman. A high definition chip set and unity gain design ensure that you get a clear, quality picture and rich colors, even when the V883 is transmitting signals over a long distance. A standard RG-6 coaxial cable sends signals to TVs up to 300 feet away, and by adding a Componenet Video Wall Plate (sold separately), you can use a Cat-5 cable to send a video signal up to 500 feet away. Easy to integrate into your house's video system, the V883 can be controlled with a touch panel, keypad, or remote control. And if you've got more than eight TVs, the expansion port in the back of the V883 allows you to connect up to three more component video controllers, so you can distribute videos to a whopping 32 televisions.
