Power Bug gives you what Apple doesn't
DLO's Power Bug for iPod shuffle charges your shuffle from any AC wall outlet. Its sleek, compact, fold-away design is unlike any other shuffle power accessory out there, and complements the tiny shuffle's look and feel. As a bonus, you get a USB-to-shuffle cable for syncing the 2nd generation (2G) shuffle at home or on the go. This detachable dock cable can replace a lost or misplaced 2G shuffle docking station. It's a simple, practical alternative to your shuffle dock that can go with you anywhere. You need this accessory. Apple doesn't include an external power supply when you buy your shuffle.
Can using Power Bug blow up my shuffle?
Thankfully no, the days of charging batteries to destruction are long gone. Electronic devices are too smart for that now. There's an indicator light on the top of the iPod shuffle. Green means fully charged, amber means low charge, and red means almost no charge. When your shuffle is fully charged, it stops drawing power from the Power Bug. Your shuffle knows when it's gotten enough of a charge so the Power Bug can't overcharge it. And the Power Bug itself is equipped with an Intelligent Status Light that glows red or green to indicate its power status, so users know at a glance if their iPod is fully charged.
