Ft. of internal storage capacity (15.4 Cu. Ft. in the refrigerator compartment and 9.9 Cu. Ft. in the freezer) means there's room for that leftover pot roast or for the sack lunches you've made the night before. And your options for storing goodies within that imense storage space are almost endless. In the freezer, the ED5FHAXSS features three door shelves as well as four main compartment shelves and one bin. The refrigerator side sports three clear door bins and one door shelf as well as, in the main compartment, two clear, humidity-controled crisper bins for maximum freshness for your fruits and vegetables, and a temperature controlled meat pan and a snack bin. The two main refrigerator shelves feature SpillGuard® glass. These adjustable glass shelves are transparent for a cleaner, brighter refrigerator compartment interior. Adjust them up, down or remove them completely. The raised edges can contain spills up to 12 ounces without overflowing. Bring on the leftovers. |

You get easy access to ice and added shelf space in the main freezer compartment. The In-Door-Ice system makes and dispenses ice as quickly as all of Whirlpool's other standard ice makers. It will also feed ice to an ice and water dispenser, so you don't even need to bother to open the freezer door to get cubed or crushed ice. But, let's say you need a seriously large (glacier-like) quantity of ice, simply take the ice collection bin from the freezer altogether, not only is it easy to remove but it also doubles as an ice bucket. Let's hear those featues one more time.
