Sensor Cook technology senses humidity levels within the oven as an index of the temperature of your food and then automatically adjusts cooking time and power so as to provide optimal heating performance. Once your food is cooked, the microwave shuts itself off, reducing the risk of under or over-cooking.

Who likes to be in control?

Simple isn't always best. If you remember, your old microwave oven had two settings: On and Off. That was great if you wanted to use the microwave either to store extra plates or to heat something to unpredictably hot states. So, not that great. Bringing you a wide range of control over every item you place inside it, the LMV2083 stainless-steel microwave from LG sports a variety of quick and convenient cooking options. Ten power levels let you customize the oven's settings for each individual dish, while specialty settings like More/Less, Hold Warm, and Melt/Soften let you tack on extra cooking time without stopping the oven, keep a dish warm while the rest of the meal cooks, and melt or soften tricky foods like butter or chocolate chips.

Take your leftovers for a spin

We hate to break this to you, but microwave technology isn't perfect. Microwave ovens concentrate heating/cooking energy in one area of the oven, so simply placing a dish inside might not result in even heating and cooking. Enter the turntable . . . By simply rotating your food around within the oven's interior, the LMV2083's 12" turntable helps deliver foods that are evenly heated and cooked. Oh, and a bi-level cooking rack adds a second shelf level, letting you take full advantage of the oven's interior cooking capacity.
