How does the JBP65SMSS make making messes easier? By giving you more element-size options on its glass ceramic cooktop. A good match between the size of your pan and the size of the element you're using is important both for effective, efficient heating and cooking and for proper care of your pans. With this — and the opportunity to make more messes — in mind, GE has designed the JBP65SMSS with a 6"/9" dual-size ribbon element rated at 3,000 Watts. In combination with two single 6" elements (1,500W) and one 8" element (2,000W), your JBP65SMSS's rangetop delivers optimal element-size versatility. Finally, the smoothtop design makes clean-up as simple as a wipe of a rag. |

Um, sure you can do the cleaning |

| This was a tough decision for GE. Knowing just how much you adore hunching down, getting your hands in some lovely abrasive cleaners, and scrubbing, scrubbing, scrubbing your oven's interior, GE was reluctant to design your new JBP65SMSS with a self-clean cycle. Nonetheless, GE ultimately decided to include the feature, so we guess you'll have to find a new favorite Saturday activity. Oh, and just in case you're wondering how the self-clean cycle works, a high, concentrated heat is generated within the oven, effectively coverting any spills, grime, and burns into ash that can be swept out easliy after the cycle has been completed. |
