One oven, three times the performance. General Electric's JGBP32SENSS features the TrueTemp temperature-management system. Combining a 6-pass bake element, electronic temperature sensor, and dual-element baking, the TrueTemp system delivers precise temperature control and even heating and browning for ideal baking results. On the cooktop, four sealed gas elements with continuous cast-steel grates offer precision heating and a stable cooking platform. A one-piece cooktop and self-clean cycle take the hassle out of spills and messes.

The TruTemp trifecta

Some ovens have "baking cycles" or "temperature settings". The JGBP32SENSS from General Electric, on the other hand, sports a temperature management system. The TrueTemp System combines three design features and technologies to deliver dramatically improved baking performance and results. First off, while the bake elements at the bottom of most ovens curve back and forth across the width of the oven two or three times, the JGBP32SENSS's bake element meanders six times. Referred to as a 6-pass bake element, this configuration is able to provide a distribution of heat that is significantly more even, serving up more even cooking and browning. Second, dual-element baking alternates use of the bake and broil elements when heating the oven compartment to eliminate the formation of hotspots that might cause uneven heating or cooking. Finally, a platinum-tipped electronic oven sensor monitors temperature levels, allowing for precise and accurate temperature control. Better temperature control and more even heating bring improved results, no matter the dish.

Additionally, the one-piece, up-swept cooktop and sealed burners team up to prevent spills from becoming a hassle.

Abracadabra . . . it's clean!

You're new JGBP32SENSS fights fire with fire. Spills and messes inside your oven are tough to clean because they get baked right onto the oven's interior. It's the heat of the oven that makes cleanup a hassle. Oddly enough, it's the heat of your JGBP32SENSS's Self-Clean cycle that makes clean up a breeze, too. By generating extremely high temperatures within the oven compartment, the self-clean cycle effectively reduces any burnt-on spills into a powdery ash that can be easily wiped out once the cycle has ended.

A note on fuel

"Versatility" is the JGBP32SENSS's middle name. Accordingly, the folks at General Electric have taken the time to ensure that this gas range is adaptable to your fuel needs. While the JGBP32SENSS ships from the factory configured to operate with natural gas, it also includes a kit for converting the unit to liquid-propane operation. Like we said . . . versatile.
