Your new KM3464G's Fast-Ignition System delivers a series of convenience and safety features. First, ignition really is fast once a control knob has been turned to the Highest Flame/ Ingition symbol, it can be immediately released without failure of ignition. Second, if the flame should go out while cooking perhaps on account of a draft the burner will automatically reignite. Finally, if the automaitc reignition is unsuccessful, the gas supply will be automatically shut-off. |

Many pans in one. If you aren't already familiar with cooking with a wok, your new KM3464G gives you the perfect excuse to discover this Chinese cooking tool. The KM3464G comes equipped both with burner grates that are designed for wok-use and a wok ring accessory that provides further stability. Cooking with a wok is like cooking with many pans at the same time. Because of its deep, high-sided round-bottom design and large cooking-surface area, when heated, the wok has multiple cooking zones. The deepest portion of the wok's bottom is heated to the highest temperatures, ideal for searing or shallow-frying if a little oil is added. The sloping walls of the wok hold a more moderate temperature that is best for slower cooking and for keeping foods warm. Individual ingredients can be seared in the wok's bottom, and then moved out to the edges to slowly finish cooking while other ingredients cook in the bottom. Wok's are the original and ultimate stir-fry tool. |
