In the Design-A-Rack system, a 16 place-setting capacity is spread across a variety of rack-design features that deliver optimal versatility in accommodating all your dishes inside the LDF6810WW. The upper rack is capable of holding dishes and stemware up to 12" in height while the lower rack features 14" of vertical clearance for your dishes. Two rows of folding tines on the lower rack, a stemware holder that doubles as a double-decker cup holder and three detachable silverware baskets make the LDF6810WW adaptable to all your needs. This system also features nylon-coated racks with rounded tips that are gentle on the rims and lips of your plates and cups. |

Three fundamental forces |

| With the LDF6810WW, you get six different wash cycles — Sanitary, Power Scrub, Normal, Delicate, Rinse Only and Top Rack Rinse Only — each of which uses a different combination of the three fundamental forces of washing. What are these three forces? Physical, thermal and chemical washing forces. The abrasive action of pressurized water is the principle physical washing agent used in most dishwashers. Pressurized water is both strong enough and gentle enough to clean dishes without damaging them. Your LDF6810WW is designed with both three spray arms — top, middle and bottom — and a multi-level water direction system. Directing jets of water from the three spray arms, the multi-level system delivers pressurized water to every surface of your dishes, loosening and removing stuck-on grime for cleaner dishes. |

Stains and bugs feel the heat |

| Sometimes the pressure of water alone just isn't enough to remove particularly troublesome stains, spills, spots or grime. Enter thermal forces. Using heated water often provides just the added muscle to deliver a thorough clean. Not only is your LDF6810WW designed with its own water heater capable of 120°F inlet-water — providing the hot water necessary for most loads — but it also features a Sanitary wash cycle that uses 161°F water to both remove the most stubborn grime and to kill most pesky microbes. |

| All three fundamental forces of washing are interdependent. Water is aided in its job by heat, and heat relies on water as its delivery system. The third, and final, washing force also relies on the others. Chemical agents — like soaps and detergents — also have abrasive and sanitizing properties that aid in the removal of grime and ruin of microbes, and rely on heat and water to dissolve properly and to come into contact with the surfaces of your dishes.
