| Unless you have an all-stainless-steel dining set, chances are that the standard gamut of dishwasher wash cycles doesn't offer the versatility you need to wash sturdy pans and delicate china. And certainly not in the same load. Well, the LDF8812ST dishwasher from LG isn't your standard dishwasher. In concert with a three-spray-arm, multi-level water direction design, the Dual Intensity&trade wash cycle gives you the ability to customize the wash cycle for the upper and lower racks, independently. Choose between three levels of intensity — strong, medium, and soft — to meet the precise needs of the dishes on each level — cookware on the bottom, delicate stemware on the top. The LDF8812ST's versatility is further enhanced by six wash cycles — Soak, Power Scrub, Normal, Delicate, Quick Wash, and Rinse Only — and a special Sanitary Cycle that uses 161°F water to rinse away and kill microbes at the same time. Finally, the SenseClean&trade wash system uses sensors to measure the soil level of each load and to determine the optimal wash settings. |

The Design-A-Rack system featured by your LDF8812ST dishwasher delivers a wide variety of loading options that make it easy to efficiently fit a large number of dishes into each load. The 16-place-setting capacity is divided between an upper and lower rack. The upper rack is adjustable, allowing you to raise or lower it up to 2" to make room for taller items on either level, and can accommodate dishes up to 12" in height. Both the upper and lower racks feature two rows of folding tines, while the lower rack is designed with two rows of removable tines. The lower rack also includes three cutlery baskets that can be removed for easy loading and unloading. Move over, butter dish, there's one more gravy boat to go! |
