The most striking difference is that the top load washer uses a new innovative IntelliClean® impeller at the bottom of the wash basket that moves your load through a mixture of water and detergent. The load is moved from the outside toward the middle with items coming up in the center and down on the outside edges. This virtually "touchless" system gives you a new clean while reducing ware on your clothes.

A major factor in a washer's utility consumption is its use of water. Making certain that you are selecting exactly the right amount of water for each load so as to maximize cleaning and energy efficiency can be tricky on washers with manual water-level controls. Your new MT6600TQ features IntelliFill&trade Water Level Control which senses the load size and composition through a series of fills and wash motion, then adjusts the water level for the best cleaning and rinsing performance. This means no more guesswork — the water level is just right for every wash load size.

Auto means easy and efficient

In case you haven't noticed, your new MTW6700TQ likes to make doing laundry as easy for you as it possibly can. Automatic water level and temperature controls take the guesswork out of energy-use and wash maximization decisions. In addition, your MTW6700TQ features two other automatic functions that further simplify laundry washing. First, the MTW6700TQ features detergent, bleach and fabric softener dispensers that make your washer truly automatic by making it unnecessary for you to return to the washer during the cycle to add these products. The MTW6700TQ makes sure that laundry products are added to the load at the proper time in the wash cycle. Second, the MTW6700TQ is preset to automatically select the spin speed based on the cycle selected. This means each load will receive the ideal wash, automatically. Given your needs, you also have the option of manually setting the wash speed. In addition, the MTW6700TQ is designed for High Efficiency (HE) detergent use only. HE detergents are made to produce the right amount of suds and give the best performance in low water wash systems.

If stains are your bane, with the MTW6700TQ you'll be fain

You're busy, you're active, and sometimes stains happen. Using traditional pre-wash stain treatments can be both time-consuming and ineffective. Recognizing this, your new MTW6700TQ features a Stain Cycle option that uses Direct Inject Cleaning Action to help ensure better soil and stain removal. The Stain Cycle reduces the need for pretreatment and is safe for all washable fabrics. How does it work? First, water flushes through the dispenser to dissolve the detergent. Next, the detergent mixture is sprayed onto the load while the washer spins at low speed. This cleaning action will last up to five minutes depending on the cycle selected. Then the washer then stops spinning, fills with water to the appropriate level and continues washing with the selected cycle. Now, how easy is that?

The water is filtered through a force filter that traps sand and dirt, flushing them down the drain so that they are not redeposited before recirculating the water for the rinse cycle. then recirculated.
