A new way to agitate

Old top-loading washers have agitators that work hard to beat the dirt out of your clothes. Which is great for getting clothes clean, but not so great for keeping the clothes looking new. The WHRE5550KWW features GE's HydroWave wash system with the Infusor. The oscillating action of the Infusor gently pulls fabric through the water using a 360-degree motion. This moves clothes slowly and gently, delivering a thorough, yet completely gentle, cleaning motion. You also get to choose from five different wash/spin speed combinations. Speeds are matched to fabric type for great clothes care. And the stainless steel wash basket won't chip, peel, or snag fabrics.

A 700RPM spin speed removes more water during the spin cycle to minimize drying time. And the RainSHower rinse system uses less water than traditional top-loads.
