You might be looking at the LG WM0742HGA/DLE0442G laundry set and wondering why they have a rear control design. After all, this means they can't stack, and this control design was something that all the old top-loaders had. But, that doesn't mean this design is a thing of the past. Though this design does limit your ability to stack the set, having the controls located higher and on the rear of the machine makes them easier to see and use than on typical low-profile, boxy frontloads. This also leaves more space for the controls without having to make room for the detergent dispenser and the top of the door, so you get less crammed, easier-to-use controls with a large LED display.
Too many choices? Nah.
Decidophobia is the fear of making decisions. If you have decidophobia, this might not be the washer for you. After all, there are 9 separate cycles. Those cycles are SteamFresh, Allergiene, Sanitary, Bulky/Large, Perm Press, Cotton/Normal, Delicates, Hand Wash/Wool, and Speed Wash. But, the choices don't end there! The cycles are customizable, so you can adjust for six different wash/rinse temperatures, six temperatures, and 3 soil levels.
