Forged from the very best stainless steel with a unique hexagon pattern that resembles a honeycomb, the special feature in this unique pattern is that the hexagons point outward. This unique design creates ingenious "air cushions." These pockets of air ensure the gentle movement of laundry and the reduction of contact friction with the stainless drum. Simply stated: the Honeycomb drum guarantees even drying results, while minimizing creasing and needless wear of your garments.

Take the guess-work out of laundry day

Forget digging through the dryer every five minutes just to make sure your favorite wool sweater is still the same size. Indicator status lights on the T9820's control panel tell you when interim drying stages have been reached, allowing you to remove certain items before they end up the size of a postage stamp. After the proper drying stage is reached, a cool down cycle begins. This is followed by an anti-crease mode (another way of saying anti-ironing mode) if the laundry is left unattended.

All Miele tumble dryers utilize advanced electronic controls. An on-board microprocessor monitors everything from moisture levels to drying temperatures making adjustments when needed. This technology allows Miele tumble dryers to offer eight drying programs and . And the T9820 control panel is angled to 23.5®.
