The Steam Team

In the world of home laundry, there's one class of washers and dryers endowed with super powers: steam washers and dryers. By injecting gentle mists of steam into the drum during washing or drying cycles, these laundry appliances achieve uncanny cleaning results. But wait! A dryer that uses steam? First, a SteamFresh cycle makes it possible to refresh and reduce wrinkles in up to five garments in just 20 minute or less. Second, a SteamSanitary cycle complements the Sanitary Wash cycle offered by the matching WM2801HLA washer, eliminating 99.9% of bacteria. Third, a ReduceStatic option neutralizes static electricity in normal loads by introducing steam during the final five minutes of the cycle. Finally, an EasyIron option evenly and lightly moisten a load prior to the end of the cycle to facilitate ironing.

As moisture levels decrease, the Sensor Dry system automatically reduces the drying temperature and adjusts drying time. Because of minimal exposure to high temperatures, the strength and integrity of your clothing's fabrics are preserved. Further, your clothes aren't piping hot when you pull them out of the dryer.
