| You usually have more than one option when selecting a route. Ask for directions most places and you're likely to start a lively discussion on the best way to get to the interstate or wherever it is you're going. The CROSSOVER gives you options that are easy to select, with four ways to choose your route. Select Shortest Time, where an advanced algorithm calculates your route using shortest distance and speed limit factors. Shortest Distance determines your best route by shortest distance traveled. Least Use of Freeways calculates your route through city and side streets enabling you to stay off highways when possible. Most Use of Freeways provides directions over freeways, highways, and interstates. Avoid Toll Roads lets you do just that. When traffic stops for more than several minutes, SmartDetour automatically calculates a detour and asks if you'd like to bypass the congestion; and, if you choose to make a detour, Auto Re-route automatically calculates a new route as you drive. |

| Magellan's CROSSOVER GPS is pre-programmed with a million and a half interactive points of interest, including addresses and even phone numbers--in most cases--for businesses, services, parks, lakes, airports, and more. It's easy to find the nearest restaurants, gas stations, ATMs, and more, wherever you travel! A simple touch-screen menu makes it easy to choose a location by category or sub-category. So if you want to find the nearest Chinese restaurant, just touch the screen. Select whichever types of points of interest you would like to appear on the map and see the location of gas stations, restaurants, ATMs, and more, as you drive. Touch an icon on the screen and your CROSSOVER will automatically route you there. You'll also see the address and phone number (if available) so you can call ahead and make reservations at a restaurant, for example. Its address book can store personal or business destinations. QuickSpell intelligently sorts, searches, and checks spelling for rapid address entry with minimal keystrokes, accelerating your data entry by matching letters to the available destinations. |

| The Magellan CROSSOVER uses WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System) to provide exceptional GPS accuracy and reliability. With WAAS technology and its ability to track up to 20 satellites, the CROSSOVER accurately locates your position to within three meters (a little less than 10 feet). Four guidance screens with an easy-to-use interface help move you down the road. TrueView 3D shows a detailed view of actual road layout for upcoming turns and information about intersection maneuvers. Map View is a super bright, high resolution display with bold, easy-to-read icons and text. Zoom in or out on a detailed map and select from nine different color combinations for the look that suits you best. You can view maps using the traditional 2D view, or switch to the 3D bird's eye view at the touch of a button. Maneuver List details streets and when and where to expect turns along your route. Additionally, Instant Locate is a valuable safety feature that provides detailed information about your present location so you can easily direct emergency services and roadside assistance if needed. The CROSSOVER automatically turns itself on when you start the car, so it's ready to go when you are. Installation is easy as well.
