| The Maestro 4050 includes voice recognition software for many of the most commonly used commands. This provides hands-free operation of the Magellan Maestro for many of the functions you use on a daily basis. To place the Maestro 4050 in a "listening" mode for voice commands, you need to first "wake up" the voice recognition feature by saying the wake-up word "Magellan". You can wake-up the Maestro when viewing the map screen or one of the menu screens. Upon waking up the voice recognition software, the Say a Command screen is displayed. This is a list of the available commands that can be used for reference: "Go Home", "Nearest Coffee", "Nearest Restaurant", "Nearest Gas", "Nearest ATM", "Roadside Assistance", and "Where Am I?". Saying "Previous" or "Next" scrolls the list up and down to see available commands, but you don't need to see the command on the screen to say it. Say "Cancel" at any time to exit Voice Command and Control. |
