The LC19SK24UW comes with one of the most unique remote controls on the market. First of all, it has a built-in clock/timer so if you leave the room to make popcorn while you are waiting for your show to come on, you can set the timer to beep at you in case you get too caught up in the kitchen. And, while you are in the kitchen, you can avoid misplacing the remote because it has a magnetic back — just stick it on the fridge. You can also use this timer to send a Power ON/OFF signal to the TV — this turns your TV into a convenient alarm clock as well! Plus, if you're tired of having to turn the remote to just the right angle in order to get it to work, this remote has three IR transmitter outputs that are placed for operating from a wide range of angles — so you can stand, sit, or be to the left or right of your TV and not have to get carpel tunnel syndrome trying to change a channel. THe LC-19SK24UW is PC compatable and is an HDTV monitor for greater versatility. As an HDTV monitor, it is compatible with all 1080i and 720p signals from HDTV sources. A separate decoder is required.
