F.E.A.R. is actually an acronym for First Encounter Assault Recon, an elite military squad that deals primarily with murderous oddities of the paranormal variety. Think Ghostbusters without the laugh lines. Think ghouls, ghosts, and creepy little undead girls in bloody red skirts lurking around every corner. That's all part of a day's work when you are part of team F.E.A.R. As a member of the team, you cash a paycheck every week for helping track down a powerful psychic who has a tendency to snack on the faces of his fallen foes, in order to see their memories. We all have our quirks, I guess.
