As you can see, the DVM-725 offers a variety of ways to keep you entertained. |
Let's Make This Perfectly Clear |
Not only does the DVM-725 play multiple formats, it does it in high fashion with progressive scan technology. Progressive scan technology represents a vast improvement over the interlaced scanning method used in TV broadcasts and other conventional applications, as it can process around twice as much video data to produce a sharper, noise-free picture with finer details. High-definition video images are faithfully displayed with optimum naturalness and beauty. High resolution audio and video Digital-to-Analog converters also ensure a quality picture, and digital audio outputs provide a smooth path for Dolby Digital and DTS soundtracks. For fine tuning, you can adjust several aspects of the picture, including brightness, contrast, color and sharpness. |
Offering You The Best Of Both Worlds |
If you want to view video images with an aspect ratio of 4:3 (the traditional size of a standard TV monitor) on a 16:9 (widescreen) TV monitor, the DVM-725's Aspect Ratio function converts the images to the correct aspect ratio. If 4:3 is your preferred viewing material, the DVM-725 will convert the 16:9 ratio back to 4:3. With the DVM-725, you get the best of both viewing worlds. |
Check Your Status |
With the DVM-725, the display on the front panel indicates whether a loaded disc is a CD or a DVD so that you can easily monitor the kinds of discs that are loaded. A simple press of the Display button on the remote controller lets you see the current operating status of the DVM-725 within an easy-to-read display on screen. The various operations and settings are easily changed using the remote controller while monitoring the screen display. |
