Memory Enough For Every Need

The 52 MB built-in internal memory capacity allows the P5100 to take pictures right out of the box; add Secure Digital (SD) memory cards for virtually unlimited storage capacity. It provides peace of mind, letting you capture images without having to find an SD card with capacity available. Of course, there's an SD card slot that accepts optional (not included) SD cards in memory capacities from 32 MBs to 2 GBs. The P5100 features Vibration Reduction (VR) Optical Image Stabilization. Advanced Shooting Modes

Get advanced without the complication. The new improved Mode dial provides quick access to greater personal control over camera operation. Access unlimited creative possibilities with Programmed Auto (P), Shutter-priority Auto (S), Aperture-priority Auto (A), and Manual (M) exposure modes. D-Lighting compensates for underexposed images or insufficient flash by automatically adding light and detail to selected shots where needed, without affecting properly exposed areas. Face-Priority (AF) Automatically finds and focuses on up to 12 faces to ensure superb portraits with clear, crisp focus. All of these modes help make the P5100 your number one pick.

Red-Eye Begone

Tired of getting that demonic red-eye effect in your subjects? This dreaded effect is caused by light reflecting off the back of your subject's eye. P5100 comes equipped with a remedy. You can select red-eye reduction by pre-flash, which uses a burst of light before the actual shot to reduce the pupil size of your subject.
