Once you've captured an image, the S52c fixes common images flaws. Nikon's In-Camera Red-Eye Fix automatically looks for and eliminates most instances of red-eye, while D-Lighting rescues those photos that are too dark for printing by enhancing the underexposed areas of the picture but not touching the properly exposed areas.
