Getting the right shot is never a struggle with the Sony HDRPJ camcorder. Intelligent auto scene modes help you by analyzing your frame, choosing from over 90 combinations of scene modes, and optimizing your settings. Steadyshot image stabilization helps to keep your shot steady (even if your hand isnâ€™t), while a 17x extended optical zoom lets you get closer to the action without losing picture clarity. Sonyâ€™s wide-angle G lens helps you capture more of the scene, letting you take full advantage of todayâ€™s wide-screen viewing. Keep track of the people most important to you with built-in Face Detection. By locking the focus on a specific person, you can easily track them even in busy environments.

The sound of surround

Movies without sound are so 1921. The Sony HDRPJ30V gives you the ability to capture 5.1-channel sound with its built-in microphone, taking in sound from every direction as you film. Specially designed, it also dampens the sound of wind passing over the microphone to provide clearer audio. The HDRPJ30V also includes an input for an additional external microphone, just in case you need something more specialized.
