For ease of use, a stick controller mounted on the LCD monitor makes it easy to set menu and manual settings and control playback. Simply press the four "compass points" on the circular control to navigate menu items and manual feature settings during recording and playback. Recording time is enhanced through the use of a 115-minute battery combined with new, advanced circuitry that consumes less power. This means you can record almost two hours of video before having to recharge the battery. The GRD870 features Live Slow, which is extremely useful for playing back precious or hard-to-see moments at a slow speed. Slow motion images are recorded with sound on a DVC tape. The images are played back with the slow motion effect while the sound is at normal speed. |
