A 2.5-inch diagonal free angle LCD monitor rotates 180-degrees, giving you more shooting flexibility, including the ability to take self-portraits. The LCD lets you check recorded video footage right on the spot. Scenes from moving images and still images are displayed as thumbnails, making it easy to find the file you're looking for, or to delete scenes you don't want. And you don't have to worry about accidental overwriting, since you can edit images right on the spot. |
SD Memory Cards |
The SVAV100 is the first Panasonic SD video camera that records directly and exclusively onto SD Memory Cards. No other recording media is required, just the extremely lightweight and compact SD Memory Card. In addition to MPEG2 recording, the SVAV100 can record MPEG4 moving images and 340,000-pixel still images suitable for posting on Web pages, or attaching to e-mail. The Super Image Stabilizer helps prevent hand movement jitter when shooting. |
Providing the Hook-Ups |
Video and stills stored on SD Memory Cards can be quickly transferred to a compatible PC via a USB terminal. You also get an AV cradle with your purchase, which lets you connect the SVAV100 to a TV to view your movies on a bigger screen. It also allows you to transfer video and stills to a compatible PC and recharge your D-Snap SD video camera with ease. |
