Hey, what is this "1080/24p" thing?

To say that the HTCT100 has 1080/24p signal capability is to say that it is capable of transmitting a hi def video signal with the same frame-rate as film via HDMI. The "1080" means that the HTCT100 is capable of sending your flat-panel HDTV a progressive-scan 1920 x 1080 resolution video image . . . the highest resolution available. Second, the "24" part lets you know that the HTCT100 can also reproduce video recorded at 24 frames-per-second — the same frame rate used by motion pictures. Simply connect the HTCT100 to a 1080/24p display via HDMI and enjoy remarkable video performance from HD sources. Also, theHTCT100 decodes uncompressed audio (LPCM via HDMI) so you can hear the original mix of your favorite hi def video titles. Finally, x.v.Color&trade offers an extended color gamut for more accurate and brilliant color reproduction.
