Then, after the proliferation of portable audio players, you simply connected your iPod or other player to a dock with speakers, and added tunes that way. But now, there's a whole new dimension available for deejaying your party . . . Blending two iPod docks with Cross Fader and Monitor Cue capabilities, as well as dual wheel controls, the LBT-DJ2i system lets you mix audio from two iPods to create a unique and custom soundtrack for your party, queuing up the next song in the headphones. Mix MP3, WMA, or AAC audio from a USB drive, or save your latest funky mix on a USB-enabled storage device. And while you're mixing up a storm, look to the LBT-DJ2i's bass boost and MP3 Booster+ technologies to add depth and clarity to MP3 audio.
Audio options galore
As if the LBT-DJ2i's dual iPod dock interfaces and USB port didn't offer enough options for adding music to your party, this shelf system also offers a built-in single-disc CD player and integrated AM/FM radio capability. Whenever you aren't mixing iPod audio live for your guests, simply pop in a CD or dial in your favorite radio station while you take a break.
And who could forget the speakers?!
Remember, the LBT-DJ2i is a Hi-Fi system. Heres what you need to know.
Great sound !
The remote control is GREAT, it controls all functions from your ipod. Not just volume previous or next song. You can set up the alarm system on the unit to wake up to your ipod.
CD player, play music from USB devices amfm radio, you dont need anything else!!!
The only bad thing it only has inputs for ipod & USB devices.

I purchased this mini-system for my niece and got a great deal at Vanns. Let me just say that it is a superb system....excellent quality for a minisystem. My niece played it for me and I was really impressed with the sound.. The subwoofer does a great job of making it sound like a full sized system, and my niece loves to plug her ipod into the dock and listen to her favorite songs. Highly recommended!

I always wnated a system with a lot of punch and packs great bass, this goes above and beyond expectitions. Plus it has dual ipod sations or docks that can be used. Dont have to be be a dj to operate system works like a charm. The bass is beyond believe but the clarity is also great. No complaints what so ever, you definitly get what you pay for and more.

I wanted to buy a high quality audio system and really liked the Sony mini HiFi system i had some 20 years ago. Based on my experience and looking at the feature set of this system, it seemed like an excellent audio system to have with enough bells and whistles. Vanns as usual shipped the system fast and free. I should mention that i was not interested in its DJ feature or intended to use it as a party machine, just wanted a good quality stereo. The system came in a very large box and was quite heavy. One thing I find out after hooking everything up was that its the sub-woofer unit that has all the electronics and amps - the head unit was very light-weight and contained just the control buttons, CD player and lights. Everything connects to the sub-woofer and sub-woofer connects to main power - only one power connection needed. As the unit has MP3 quality enhancer feature, i copied couple of high-quality 256Kbps MP3s to a USB flash drive and played it. The unit had very bass-heavy sound. I then tried a CD and it has similar sound. I disabled the bass enhancer that quiets down the sub but the main speakers still sounds muddy. I then use the tone-control, which by the way is very limited with only 3 frequency controls and limited range to each, to dial down the bass and increase the treble. That produced acceptable results but with no bass. Heres my take on it It probably is well-suited for DJingParties where you just need loud music BUT it is not a high-quality audio system that you want to listen your classical music on. The DJ features are also very basic - it is more of a toy in that sense than a real DJ machine. As I have said, it is not a system for my taste but for partying teenagers, its perfect. Oh and it looks way cool with all the lights and futuristic main unit.

I gave this stereo system to my husband as a Christmas present and everything is perfect. Great sound quality. I feel like we were in a disco bar. A friend of ours borrowed the system for his wedding and reception. He even asked how much the price is. I said I bought it for a really reasonable price. Great price and great quality. I highly recommend it.

This system is awesome . After shopping around for this product Vanns had the best possible price with FREE SHIPPING . As a consumer that was a huge saving . The system is very powerfull with the ipod playing but flat playing the fm tuner . Overall this is a great product . THUMBS UP
