AM/FM/MP3/CD Clock Radio

Wake up your way with the ICFCD7000 AM/FM/MP3/CD clock radio. That's right, this clock radio not only includes an FM/AM digital tuner, it also plays CD, CD-R, and CD-RW discs and has MP3 connectivity with its built-in audio cable. There's also a dual alarm (wake to CD, radio or buzzer), and even a built-in battery to take over when the power goes out.

Listen Up

The ICFCD7000 gives you lots of listening options. An FM/AM digital tuner lets you choose from a variety of radio programming and 15 station presets allow you to set up to 10 FM stations and 5 AM stations. This clock radio also plays CDs, including CD-R and CD-RW discs burned either on a PC or home recording deck. There's even MP3 connectivity with the ICFCD7000's built-in audio cable. The built-in cable allows you to easily connect your MP3 player and have access to all of your music.

Giving Lesser Radios a Wake-Up Call

The ICDCD7000 gives you more ways to wake up. It has a dual alarm feature, which permits two separate wake-up times with individual wake-up settings and also allows you to wake to a CD, the radio or a buzzer. The No Power No Problem Alarm System uses the pre-installed Lithium battery to maintain clock and alarm operation in the event of a blackout or other power failure. You can take a short nap and wake up to the radio or buzzer wihtout changing your alarm settings thanks to the Count-down Time Nap Button. You can select your favorite nap time or 10, 20, 30, 60, or 90 minutes. Finally, extendable snooze gives you the freedom to choose your snooze time instead of having to settle for the standard time intervals of other alarms. Each press of the snooze button adds an additional 10 minutes to your snooze time, up to a full hour.

The Right Time -- Automatically

Not that alarm clocks are ever really that difficult to operate, but the ICFCD7000 makes life a little easier with ATS and ADST. With ATS (Automatic Time Set), the correct EST (Eastern Standard Time) has been preset at the factory so you can just plug in your radio and adjust the time zone if necessary. In the case of a power interruption, the pre-installed Lithium battery maintains the correct time so when the power returns you don't have to re-set the clock. With ADST (Automatic Daylight Savings Time), when Daylight Savings Time changes take place in the Spring and Fall each year, there is no need to adjust the clock because the built-in calendar recognizes the dates and automatically makes the proper time adjustments.

Even More Great Features

In addition to all the great features already mentioned, the ICFCD7000 includes a few more unique characteristics worth mentioning. The radio's Triple Time Display displays the current time, Alarm A and Alarm B on the easy-to-read LCD display. LCD brightness control lets you choose between three positions: High, Medium or Low (H/M/L), by pressing the snooze button. A sleep timer allows you to fall asleep to the radio, a CD or a digital music player. You can select how long you want the music to play, choosing between 15, 30, 60 or 90 minutes.
