| Behind the simple, yet elegant, appearance of the Model Three Clock Radio is a storehouse of advanced technology that enables higher fidelity sound reproduction and better radio reception than anything else anywhere near its size or cost. The furniture-grade, handmade wood cabinet is not just for appearance sake (although it does make an impressive visual statement). The audio benefit of the classy enclosure is that it provides an acoustically inert environment that contributes greatly to the superior sound reproduction. A heavy-magnet, long-throw 3" driver is allied to a multi-stage frequency contouring circuit that adjusts the speaker's output over half-octave increments. The result is musically accurate tonal balance and bass response. For superb stereo sound, just add the optional matching companion speaker (sold separately) or build a complete sound system around the Model Three by also adding the optional matching Model Subwoofer and Model CD (both sold separately). By itself, or in combination with other Tivoli products, the Model Three has a warm sound, ease of use and distinguished appearance that give it a wonderful bedside manner. |

Remarkable Reception |

| Instead of a standard, off the shelf integrated circuit, the Model Three Clock Radio uses a state of the art, discrete-component FM tuner featuring GaAs MES-FET mixers. This technology was originally developed for cellular phones but Henry Kloss realized the benefits it held for FM radio reception and incorporated the technology into his radio designs. The result is vastly improved reception and increased clarity on closely spaced stations. You enjoy stronger and much clearer reception from your favorite stations and with the superior tuner, you may find stations you never knew were there. Tuning in your favorites, both old and new, is a pleasure using the large analog tuning knob with its geared down 5:1 tuning ratio that provides easy and accurate tuning while the amber tuning indicator lets you know when you've achieved proper tuning. Built-in AM and FM antennas provide satisfying reception, while a rear 75 ohm jack allows connection of an external FM antenna for difficult reception areas. The analog clock's fine quartz mechanical movement provides accurate time keeping and compliments the analog tuning dial. The gently illumination of the clock dial makes it easy to see in the dark without being so bright as to penetrate closed eyelids and keep you awake. You can choose to awaken to a pleasant sounding buzzer or start your day by waking up to the great sound of truly remarkable radio. |

| Artistic in its simplicity, the Model Three Clock Radio is so easy to use, you won't lose sleep wondering if you set it correctly. Some bedroom radios require an advanced engineering degree and extra appendages just to set the alarm, but the Model Three takes all the worry and frustration out of making sure you're set to wake up. A large, easy to read dial and large, easy to grip knobs make tuning and adjusting your radio simple and precise at the same time. The sleek thumbwheel makes setting the alarm and backup alarm simple and painless. For the majority of us who aren't ready to leap bright eyed from bed while the first musical notes still hang in the air, there is conveniently placed snooze button that's easy to find even with eyes closed. You also have the benefit of a 20 minute sleep timer. A built-in headphone jack enables you to enjoy private listening when you want. A mixing input permits audio from your computer to be mixed in with the radio. There is also a dedicated subwoofer output to accommodate the optional matching subwoofer (sold separately) and a balance control. The front source knob has an auxiliary position to make it even easier to listen to connected components like the optional matching Model CD (sold separately). The quality, performance and elegant simplicity of the Model Three Clock Radio are reminiscent of a time when radio was the centerpiece of home entertainment and radios were built as fine furniture rather than just boxes that produce noise.
